The staff of the Notre Dame Center for Liturgy will help us to look at some of the new words of the Mass so that we can enter more deeply into the prayer and worship we offer together each time we celebrate the Eucharist. This day will count toward diocesan requirements for continued education. Registration is required and lunch will be provided. November 12-13 Weekend Masses: Screening of One Body, One Spirit in Christ
Join us after any weekend Mass on November 12th and 13th for a screening of the USCCB film, One Body, One Spirit in Christ in the Upper Room of St. Joseph Church. This engaging film features scholars and liturgists worldwide who unpack the new liturgical texts and uncover their rich Biblical imagery. Side-by-side comparisons of texts from 1973 (current) translation and the new translation, with commentary on the texts, will help viewers gain greater appreciation for the liturgy.
