The Sacrament of Confirmation completes the grace of Baptism by a special outpouring of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, which seal or "confirm" the baptized in union with Christ and equip them for active participation in the worship and apostolic life of the Church (CCC 1285).
YOUTH CONFIRMATION
At Saint Joseph, the Sacrament of Confirmation is celebrated in 7th grade. The Confirmation Preparation Program is for any 7th grade student at Saint Joseph Grade School or CCD student at Saint Joseph Church who seeks the Sacrament of Confirmation in the Catholic Church. Please refer to the preparation schedule to the left for important dates.

ADULT CONFIRMATION
Adults wishing to be initiatied into the Catholic Church need to complete the RCIA formaion program. Adults who have been baptized and received their First Holy Communion in the Catholic Church are eligible for the Sacrament of Confirmation. Individual who have not been baptized nor received their First Holy Communion will have to participate in the entire RCIA program at Saint Joseph. After the Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion are received, adults are eligible to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.
