Operations
Members of these ministries study the resources and physical and financial needs of the parish, prepare budgets, and advise the pastor and Parish Pastoral Council. They also encourage all parishioners to sustain the parish by giving of their time, talent, and treasure.

Specific areas of activity include: the Finance Council, mandated by the Bishop to review the annual budget and to advise the pastor on financial matters; the Bishop's Appeal, responsible for conducting this annual diocesan financial appeal; and the Stewardship Commission, dedicated to reminding all parishioners of the necessity and rewards of making the Biblical concept of stewardship a way of life.  Membership on the Finance Committee is at the invitation of the pastor.

Established under the Parish Pastoral Plan (2001-2005) is the Operations Commission, which assists the pastor in the areas of human resources, technology, bookkeeping, policies and procedures, and its two subcommittees, the Buildings and Grounds Committee, which addresses the needs of the physical plant, and the Communications Committee, which seeks to assess and improve the means of communication in the parish.

The Development Committee seeks to ensure the financial viability of the parish and school through Planned Giving, Capital Campaigns, Alumni Giving, and Endowments.  Membership on these committees is at the invitation of the pastor.

If you have a desire to assist in one of these areas, please contact Fr. John.

General Office Volunteers help with such duties as answering the phone/door in the Parish Center a half-day a week, counting money one Sunday a month, computer data entry, typing, labeling, and envelope stuffing.
